SID’s new single release of “sleep” on 3/3!
Ranking top 3 on the Oricon Chart with every single song released after 2009, SID brings you their 5th single “sleep” on 3/3/2010 as the very first single of the year 2010!!!
The title song ‘sleep’ is the first love ballad since their major debut. With Mao’s brilliant lyrics from a girl’s point of view, the song is about painful love that even if you’re physically next to the one you love, but your hearts are apart. This song was available for digital download only for 24 hours on 1/31/2010 (Sun) from midnight for mobile phone ringers by Reco Choku and gained a lot of support not only from female users, but also male users as well. The song is composed by Aki, whose skills have been greatly improving as a composer. Many fans across generations will definitely sympathize with this new song’s sorrowful lyrics and melody.
The title song is followed by two songs, a new song ‘Utahime’ and the live version of ‘Aikagi.’ Types A and B are available for the 1st edition, each including a DVD with different, unreleased clips from the national hall tour

シドのニューシングル「sleep」が3月3日にリリース！
2009年以降のリリース全てがオリコンTOP3入りを果たしたシドの、2010年第1弾5thシングル「sleep」が3月3日にリリースが決定！！
タイトル曲「sleep」は、メジャー・デビュー後初となるラブバラード。
マオ得意の女の子目線の歌詞で、“体は傍に居るのに、心の傍に行けない”と言うような“ツライ恋唄”となっており、2010年1月31日（日）0：00～ 24時間限定で行われた着うた(R)レコチョクにて、超先行配信では男女問わず多くの反響を得ました。作曲はコンポーザーとして目覚しい成長を見せるベースの明希が担当。泣ける歌詞が乗る、泣けるメロディに今作品も年齢問わず共感を得る1曲に仕上がっております。
カップリングには新曲「歌姫」と、「合鍵」のライブバージョンが収録。
また初回限定盤はAとBの2種類が用意され、特典のDVDにはそれぞれ内容が異なる全国ホールツアー「TOUR 2009『hikari』」の未公開映像が収録されており、先日発売された2月10日発売のライブDVD「SIDNAD Vol.4～TOUR 2009 hikari」を購入した方でも楽しめる内容とおります。
