Plastic Tree’s profile
Formed in December 1993, Plastic Tree’s members are Ryutaro Arimura (Vo), Tadashi Hasegawa (Ba.), KenKen Sato (Dr.) and Akira Nakayama (Gu.). Since their indies period, they have attracted many fans with their energetic lives and finally debuted major in June 1997. Plastic Tree’s music varies from aggressive guitar rock to pop, which unfolds a unique world of its own in harmony with Ryutaro’s distinctive vocal—securing their presence as one-of-a-kind band.
In June 2007, Plastic Tree celebrated their 10th anniversary by performing at Nihon Budokan in Sept, which the tickets were sold out on the first day of ticketing. Their album ‘Utsusemi,’ released in September 2008, ranked 9th on Oricon’s weekly chart, and their single ‘Fukurou’ ranked 5th on the daily chart of the release date and 9th on the weekly chart. Plastic Tree’s power has reached out overseas and kindled the passion of fans in Asia and Europe that they’re going on world tours. On July 3, 2009, Plastic Tree welcomed in a new member, KenKen Sato, as the new drummer and held another successful concert at Nihon Budokan for the second time. With accelerating power, Plastic Tree sure is a pioneer rock band in the neo-visual world.

01.16 (土)より、Plastic Tree2010年冬ツアー【Re:chord】-レコード-がスタート！
Plastic Tree profile
1993年12月結成。メンバーはVo,有村 竜太朗、Ba.長谷川 正、Dr.佐藤 ケンケン、Gu.ナカヤマ アキラの４人。インディーズ時代から精力的なライブ活動で着実にファンを獲得し、1997年6月にメジャーデビュー。
作品は攻撃的なギターロックからポップなものまで多岐にわたり、ボーカル有村 竜太朗の特徴的な歌声とバンドの持つ独特な世界観で、唯一無二の存在として確固たる地位を確立。
2007年6月にはメジャーデビュー10周年をむかえ、9月に行なわれた日本武道館公演のチケットは即日SOLD OUT。
2008年9月に発売したアルバム「ウツセミ」はオリコンウィークリーチャート9位にランクインし、2009年6月にリリースしたシングル「梟」はオリコンデイリーチャート初登場5位、ウィークリーチャートで9位を記録した。
この勢いは海を越え、アジア・ヨーロッパにも飛び火しワールドツアーを開催するほど。
2009年7月3日に新ドラマｰ、佐藤 ケンケンを迎え2009年8月30日には、2度目となる日本武道館公演を大盛況のうちに終了。
ますます勢いに乗るPlastic Treeは、ネオビジュアル系バンド界のパイオニア的ロックバンドである。
